When you think of a great Italian meal, what do you typically associate with it? Red and white checkered tablecloths, large pieces of chicken parmesan and Frank Sinatra playing softly in the background? This month, the NoMad Hotel Los Angeles is paying tribute to these reliably delicious restaurants with their pop-up cocktail experience at the Coffee Bar. Every Friday and Saturday night during the month of April, a special menu and dining experience will be available that is based on these red-sauce joints.
What we’re most excited about, of course is the dessert that comes with it. In true Italian spirit, the NoMad is offering some classic cannoli as part of this special menu. The soft, flaky shell is stuffed with the ricotta filling, complete with pistachios crumbles and adorable miniature chocolate chips. Definitely make sure to check out the NoMad’s cocktail experience this month, even if just for dessert!
The NoMad LA Coffee Bar will host the “For a Limited Time Only” pop-up cocktail experience that transforms on a monthly basis to showcase a new theme. The first pop-up, “Mamma Guidara’s,” is a riff on the NoMad crew’s long-running dinner series from NoMad New York that pays homage to red-sauce joints. The NoMad LA bar crew will offer a menu of distinct drinks, including large-format options and a limoncello fountain; while the kitchen will provide a complementary menu of snacks + desserts such as mini Stromboli, Black-Truffle Arancini and more. May’s theme will be “The Kentucky Derby” and June will be “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”
