Whether you’re throwing your own Super Bowl party, need some last minute ideas for snacks or sweets to bring to a friend’s house, or just looking for a fun spot to watch the game, I’ve gathered some tasty options for Game Day. Super Bowl Eats and Treats 2019 the only guide you need!
Pikunico

For those looking for the perfect Game Day snack look no further than Pikunico in Downtown LA. Chef Kuniko Yagi of Hinoki and the Bird created her first standalone passion project at ROW DTLA which offers her take on karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken). Combining the best of American and Japanese elements, her chicken is served in a sandwich, basket or rice bowl along with market driven salads and sides. Her unique batter mixes organic brown rice flour, potato starch, and seaweed salt, resulting in a light yet crispy crust that retains all the juicy tenderness of the free range chicken it surrounds. Nothing says Super Bowl more than a basket of wings, and Pikunico’s wings are the best you’ll find in LA. They’re Gluten Free too so everyone can enjoy them!
Randy’s Donuts

Because not all snacks need to be savory, we’ve got the perfect way to sweeten up your Game Day festivities. Nike and the Rams have been working together for years and to celebrate the Super Bowl they have joined forces with Randy’s Donuts (the iconic shop with the giant donut on top, near LAX) to create a special edition Rams and Nike blue and gold donut. They even decorated their iconic giant donut in blue and gold to support the LA Rams.
Broxton

Need a place to chill out and enjoy some good food and good brews while watching the game? Broxton in Westwood is just the place. This Super Bowl Sunday Broxton will be offering a Game Day menu with select $9 food items during the game with dishes like Mac & Cheese, Bacon Wrapped Cheddar Dogs and a Bucket of Rib with fries. Broxton is one of Artisanal Brewers Collective’s “New Original Breweries”, a group of four LA based brewpubs (Broxton Brewery, Bluebird Brasserie, 6th& La Brea Brewery and Restaurant and The Stalking Horse Brewery & Freehouse). Starting next weekend you can take home Crowlers (can growlers) of beer too, but for now just enjoy a pint with the game.
Senoreata
For those of you that are looking for something to do before the game or just aren’t into football can check out Super Vegan Sunday at Smorgasburg LA. This is their yearly Super Bowl Sunday event with Eat Drink Vegan, bringing a number of amazing plant-based options alongside Smorgasburg’s regular line-up of vendors. Senoreata, a vegan Cuban food stand that is at Smorgasburg every Sunday offers traditional vegan meat pies, guava cheese strudels and delicious Game Day eats like their plaintain nachos, yucca fries, and Cuban sandwiches. Smorgasburg itself is not 100% vegan for the day – it’s a place for everyone to enjoy delicious food and drinks and this Sunday is no exception – but Senoreata is, and it’s delicious. Smorgasburg LA is open every Sunday at ROW DTLA.
