Dunkin’ Donuts Launches New Coffee Flavors

Through May at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide, you can enjoy a trio of new Girl Scout Cookie™ inspired coffee flavors! I had the honor of flying down to Savannah, GA with the Dunkin’ team to reveal the brand new flavors live on Facebook. You can check out the full segment here. Savannah happens to be the birthplace of the Girl Scouts of the USA –and was the perfect backdrop for the reveal of Thin Mints®, Coconut Caramel, and Peanut Butter Cookie flavored Dunkin’ coffees.

Some fun facts I learned from our Facebook Live:

  • While this idea was years in the making, things really got rolling once Patty Healy (Senior Director of Integrated Marketing) reached out to Courtney (Sr. Research and Development Technologist) whose team created flavor contenders within two weeks. They are wizards over there in the Dunkin’ Test Kitchen!
  • Thin Mints® flavored coffee features the classic cookie’s combination of cool mint and decadent chocolate and would be awesome as a Frozen Chocolate drink.
  • Coconut Caramel flavored coffee treats guests to the taste of toasted coconut together with creamy caramel in a cup.
  • For the first time ever, Dunkin’ Donuts has created a Peanut Butter Cookie flavored coffee bringing the flavor of mouth-watering peanut butter (without nut allergens!).

 

Having tried all three flavors myself, I can confidently say these taste just like the cookies we all know and love, but of course in coffee form. I can’t wait to get back into a Dunkin’ and enjoy them in different versions from hot coffee to an iced latte and even as a macchiato! If you’re a Girl Scout Cookies® fan you will love these, so get yourself down to a Dunkin’ Donuts location!
