This season, winter wonder and holiday glamour await guests and locals alike at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, a landmark property famous for its festive ornamentation since opening in 1928. Since December 1st and through the December 25th the hotel has transformed it’s grand lobby into a winter wonderland with an ornate and edible life-size gingerbread house large enough to walk into. The entire hous was hand-brushed with gold luster dust, the entire roof is made of marshmallows with 40 gallons of marshmallow to be exact, and the structure itself is covred with 100% hand-cut, rolled and made gingerbread. The eight-foot by twelve-foot house envisioned and created by Executive Pastry Chef Chris Ford, will offer unique holiday gifts for purchase like gingerbread emoji cookies, and chocolate Christmas trees filled with treats.
Bonus: adding to the festive cheer, Beverly Wilshire will bring back a time-honored holiday tradition for the first time in 15 years. Beginning December 1 through December 25, every night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, guests can revel in quintessential winter weather underneath the property’s porte cochère and delight in roasted chestnuts as real snow falls from above.
