So I took a poll on Instagram Stories last week to see if you all love corn desserts just as much as I do and at 86% I would say you just about do. I love all things sweet corn and my favorite form on enjoying corn as a dessert is as a cookie. While I’ve had a few corn cookies in my day the Cracked Corn Cookies from the newly opened Wild & Free restaurant in Sherman Oaks, CA is by far the best I’ve ever had. It is inspired by the cracked corn feed that Mary’s chicken (the chicken they serve) is fed. It’s a buttery sugar cookie chock full of corn with the perfect chewy texture. If you love cookies and you love corn this is for you! The Valley is really having a moment of great new restaurants and openings and Wild & Free is definitely worth checking out.
