National Hot Fudge Sundae Day

Do you all love National Ice Cream Month as much as I do? I’m enjoying every last excuse to eat more ice cream. As the month comes to an end, we’ve got one more reason to celebrate – National Hot Fudge Sundae Day. Yes, it’s real because why not have a day dedicated to such a tasty frozen treat. Hot Fudge Sundaes to me are a classic, almost old school dessert and as such Lawry’s in Beverly Hills, a prime rib restaurant and LA institution is a great place to enjoy one. It also just so happens that beyond prime rib they are also known for their signature Hot Fudge Sundae. Not only a classic dessert, the sundae represents a bit of history as it’s served with fudge from fellow stored California icon, C.C. Brown’s Ice Cream Parlor. Lawry’s actually purchased the fudge recipe after the beloved Hollywood Blvd parlor closed after 90 years in business. For more than two decades, Lawry’s has preserved C.C. Brown’s rich sundae legacy + serves the treat tableside with nuts, whipped cream, and of course, the original C.C. Brown’s Hot Fudge. Guests pour their own toppings on for an interactive (and highly Instagram-able) experience. Go get one!
